Associate Director, MBA Admissions

Job Description:

Will be responsible for Full-Time MBA recruitment, communications, and CRM system, and all other tasks as assigned; specific job responsibilities administered under the direction of the Director of Admissions: overseas planning and coordinating admissions activities; interviews and advises prospective students to determine their qualifications and provide admissions guideline information; reviews and evaluates applications for admissions to determine eligibility for acceptance to the MBA Program and University; oversees all on-campus visitations including formalized programs and customized individual visits; manages all under-represented student recruitment; manages processes and programs that motivate and develop graduate assistants; assists director in setting admissions strategies and all other responsibilities as assigned; will involve extensive travel.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in business and/or liberal arts; three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in professional admissions or talent acquisition work; experience making formal presentations, using CRM systems and working with the public; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications: MBA or other MS degrees related to admissions, advising, marketing and/or communication; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); five plus years of experience; ApplyYourself and SalesForce database expertise and operational management skills; strong quantitative and spreadsheet skills.
