Midwest ACE Research Opportunities:
John D. Shingleton Award

The John D. Shingleton Award for Innovation is awarded by the Professional Development Committee of Midwest ACE and was established in 1988. This award honors the singular contributions of John D. Shingleton to the Association and is given for the best application of completed research or assessment that strengthens or enhances career services and recruitment practices.

The winner of the Shingleton Award will be announced in Nov. at the Midwest ACE Trends In Recruiting Conference and will present their research at the Midwest ACE Annual Conference in July 2017, at which time a $250.00 award will also be presented.



  • Principal researcher must be a current Midwest ACE member in good standing
  • Research must already be completed 


Applications must be received by Oct. 19
