Midwest ACE is proud to share the findings of a new research project originally featured at Trends 2015 in partnership with Mary Scott, president of Scott Resource Group and a nationally recognized content expert. Ms. Scott’s clients typically commission employer-based research, but this new collaboration provides unique data as colleges and employers work together to paint a more robust picture of the entire recruiting process.
The webinar will highlight ways in which employers and colleges can improve their relationship around the recruitment of top talent. The results include insights from students currently recruiting on campus as well as new hires in four organizations in an effort to gauge the expectations vs. realities of new hires in the corporate world. The research further parses that data based on variables such as what school the candidate attended and if their expectations and experiences differ by major. Employer collaborators include AbbVie, Enterprise, GE and Rolls Royce. Career Services collaborators include Ball State University, Eureka College, Purdue University, University of Illinois, and the University of Michigan.
