Midwest ACE Research Webinar:
2016 Workplace Expectations v. Reality Students and Recent Hires Weigh In
Midwest ACE is proud to present the findings of their annual research project in partnership with Mary Scott, president of Scott Resource Group and a nationally recognized content expert. This collaboration provides unique data as colleges and employers work together to paint a more robust picture of the entire recruiting process. The webinar will highlight ways in which employers and colleges can improve their relationship around the recruitment of top talent. The results include insights from new hires in their respective organizations as well as qualified employment candidates currently recruiting on campuses in an effort to gauge the expectations vs. realities of new hires in the corporate world. The research further parses the data based on variables such as the awareness of/use of career exploration and preparation services by academic major; the attractiveness and benefits of development/rotational programs; recruitment practices and processes and transition-to-the-workplace issues.
Employer collaborators include: AbbVie, Caterpillar, Eaton, Enterprise, Northrop Grumman and Rolls-Royce North America.
