Assistant Director of the Career and Leadership Development Center for Employer Relations

The Assistant Director of Employer Relations will report to the Associate Director and will assist in the coordination of our on-campus interview program, coordinate marketing and event planning, employer outreach, job development, and career fairs. Specifically, the Assistant Director will: • Counsel students one-on-one and in groups regarding career planning and leadership development, employment/internship search, and graduate or professional school opportunities • Assess services/programs to determine student needs/learning outcomes and facilitate continuous improvement • Implement the on-campus interview program. • Focus on developing and administering the Center’s marketing plan, communicating with external and internal constituents, and planning for various events and programs. • Assist with the planning and administration of career fairs. • Cultivate and expand on-going and new relationships with campus recruiting partners. • Develop and market programs to various campus groups. • Have the opportunity to supervise graduate assistants and student workers. • Assist students and alumni with all aspects of their career development, including career advising and job search assistance.
Masters degree in Counseling, Higher Education, College Student Personnel or related area required.
