Assistant Director - Employer Connections and Internships

Professional contract position available June 1, 2014. Responsibilities: expand existing and create new for-credit and not-for-credit internships through partnering with current internship coordinators across campus and prospecting for new internship opportunities for students; create connecting activities that help employers connect with students through various methods, including classroom, student organizations, etc.
Minimum qualifications: master’s degree; at least three years of professional work experience; demonstrated skill in public speaking, advising, professional writing, program design, project organization and management, time management, use of Microsoft office software. Preferred qualifications: experience in consultative sales and/or one year of experience in higher education setting such as career services, residence life, or admissions. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
