Research Award and Grant Opportunities

The Technology & Trends Committee of Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers (Midwest ACE) has a mission to conduct, evaluate, and disseminate research.

Midwest ACE encourages its members to conduct and/or participate in research that is valuable to college career centers and/or employers. Annually, Midwest ACE offers two grant opportunities to support relevant research projects that can be shared with the membership. The John D. Shingleton Award for Innovation & Applied Research is awarded to the best application of completed research that strengthens or enhances career services and recruiting practices. The John Steele Grant, named for John Steele, one of the founders of the association now known as Midwest ACE, supports research in career planning and college recruiting that has not yet been conducted.
